BIO
For over twenty years, my professional life was dedicated to building high-performance engineering teams and mentoring top technical talent. As an executive director, my job was to optimize global software systems and sharpen human problem-solving skills at scale. I know exactly how much mental energy it takes to maintain elite performance in a fast-moving digital workplace.
I moved to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to explore a different kind of focus.
Today, I take my easel and canvas directly onto the rugged shorelines of Lake Superior. Painting outdoors in unpredictable northern weather is not an aesthetic leisure hobby or a decorative craft diary.
Operating under strict environmental and temporal constraints with raw oil pigments, I use the unscripted room of the natural landscape as a High-Friction Analog Simulator. Every manual mark is an irreversible choice metric designed to reverse application-switching latency, eliminate algorithmic offloading, and expand baseline attention capacity. The physical canvases archived here serve as the ultimate visual telemetry logs—the definitive proof-of-work proving human focus endurance.
