The Evolution of the Artist
From the Quiet Shores of Lake Superior to the Front Lines of Human Creativity
"For years, my work has been defined by the rugged charm and atmospheric light of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Whether capturing the dramatic shoreline of Lake Superior or teaching others to observe nature deeply through plein air painting, my goal has always been to foster a profound connection between the human spirit and the world around us.
Today, that mission has evolved.
I have joined the Cognitive Arts Resistance—a movement dedicated to protecting the cognitive value of art and the power of human-driven expression in an increasingly automated age. While my passion for the landscape remains, I am now focusing my energy on this vital effort to ensure art continues to be a vehicle for discovery, critical thinking, and genuine human connection.
I invite you to join me in this next chapter. My latest work, my updated biography, and the mission of the Resistance can all be found at our new home."
